Houston Activities

Amusement & Theme Parks

Houston has many fun attractions for the entire family. Whether roller coaster rides, water parks, or watching breath defying aeronautics, Houston has it all! Check out the Amusement and Theme Parks page.

Museums

Houston has defined itself as a cultural Mecca and it shows. Between the Houston Museum of Natural Science to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston can keep your creative side, well, creative. Check out the Museums page.

Landmarks & Historical Sites

Houston has a very deep and interesting history. From the Battleship Texas to the George Ranch Historical Park, Houston has many places to take the family. Check out the Landmarks and Historical Sites page.

Arenas, Stadiums & Amphitheaters

You must like music because you are on this site. Regardless of what you listen to, Houston has world renown venues that host stellar concerts from Oldies to Electronica. Check out the Arenas, Stadiums & Amphitheaters page.

Golf Courses

Picture this: You are on the 9th hole and it is a par three with a floating green referred to as "the easiest par five on the course" by John Mahaffey. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Well you can experience this hole, which is a replica of the 17th hole at Sawgrass, at Tour 18 Golf Course. Check out the Golf page.

Restaurants & Clubs

One of the most popular activities for people is dining out. Houston has an array of culturally unique restaurants, bars/pubs and clubs. With the most restaurants per capita its no wonder why Houston is the fattest city in the United States. Once you go out to one of the fine establishments you will find it hard to not return. Check out the Dining page.

I enjoy your new KHITS line up. Nice rock and easy listening from when music made sense. Especially enjoy listening to Bob Edwards Saturday Mornings!!!!
  • I have listened to your station for years and loved it. I am really glad it has survived all the changes over the years from changing frequencies, format and call letters.
  • The NEW khits
Your station after dropping the oldies of the 50's several years ago started touting yourself as the NEW KHITS. I being an old timer myself am glad that you still play the oldies of the 60's and 70's. My question is How long can you call yourself "new" and why?. Thanks
