Jennifer Tyler was born in Southern Illinois, but has lived in the Houston area since age 12, and considers it home. She's a 1982 graduate of Spring High School and a 1987 graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio/TV/Film.
Jennifer has spent the majority of her 20+ year radio career on the air in Houston and also served as a commercial production director, in addition to her on-air duties, for almost 10 years. She does freelance voice work for radio, TV and phone on hold messages.
She's an avid sports fan, especially football and hockey. She also enjoys cooking, reading, writing poetry and short stories and going to the theater. Jennifer is also a committee volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She lives with her 3 cats, Mercedes, Dyna and Sophie.
